StorKeeper Freezer Storage
Introduction
Besides the Ball Freezer Jars, these inexpensive little containers are my next favourite food freezing tool.
Equipment review
The two bad things about them are that they are hard to handle when you pour hot liquids into them and that the lids could be a bit thicker. But compared to the warped, cracked, non-sealing Rubber-Maid, Tupper-Ware, Glad, and Zip-Lock containers, that I now use for screw storage and plant starts after only a couple of seasons of use in the freezer, these things are a dream. They stack well, the bottoms and lids do not warp in the dishwasher or microwave. I have been using some of the same containers for 10 years and have not had one crack in them.
They can be a bit hard to find since the normal grocery stores do not carry them. I get all of my freezer supplies at WinCo. They have always had these containers and the Ball Freezer Jars, butcher paper, and freezer tape in stock.
