A nice bright and spicy salad dressing that tastes great on mixed greens and especially chopped cabbages.

Tools

  • frying pan (optional)
  • microplane grater
  • cutting board & knife
  • bowl & whisk

Ingredients

  • 4 tsp toasted organic sesame seeds (optional)
  • 5 tsp organic ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp ground brown mustard (optional)
  • 1/2 cup organic brown rice vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp organic gluten-free tamari soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp organic honey
  • 2 Tbsp toasted organic sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup organic sunflower seed oil

Cooking Instructions

  • Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan until just fragrant then dump seeds into bowl to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Grate ginger and grind pepper.
  • Add ginger, pepper, mustard, vinegar, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil to the bowl. Whisk to combine.
  • Continue whisking while slowly pouring in sunflower oil.

Notes
Leave out the sesame seeds if you do not like crunchy seeds in your dressing.
Add the mustard to help hold the emulsion.
