These are Recipes from our list, where the author has chosen to do a pictorial version to help explain some of the steps. Always refer to the original recipe for all the details and the ingredient list.
blueberry-rhubarb syrup & jam
Just one more delicious thing to do with rhubarb - which we got a goodly amount of from our CSA shares.
my bread for french toast (in pictures)
This recipe makes two nice large loaves that make great french toast.
chile-sesame noodle salad (in pictures)
This recipe is similar, but not identical to, the one without pictures. It is still quite a spicy dish, but I had sweet peas instead of green beans and I was not in the mood for the tamarind flavour so I left it out.
easy beef stew (in pictures)
For me, one of the most satisfying of comfort foods is a slow cooked beef stew. But since my schedule does not always allow time for the slow cook stew, I also use this (relatively) quick and easy recipe.
blueberry-vanilla scones (in pictures)
"These are the best scones I have ever tasted!" I hear this every time I serve these scones. The original, and unmodified, recipe can be found in "The Professional Pastry Chef". (If you seriously want to learn to bake, then you should get this book.)
